  1. 35th Annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

    April 1, 2018 - April 30, 2018

    Every year, hundreds of thousands of people come to the Skagit Valley in April for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. As one of Washington State’s most popular destination events, visitors and residents are treated to acres and acres of brightly colored tulips, display gardens that are simply stunning, and photo opportunities around every corner. In 2016 alone, the festival greeted visitors from all 50 states and from 93 countries!   2. Mosses, Fungi and Lichen

    Deborah Smeltzer, master gardener, will describe three interesting life forms: mosses, fungi and lichens, from a gardener's perspective, including their anatomy, cultural characteristics, portraits, and role as "friend" or "foe" in the Pacific Northwest.
