  1. 35th Annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

    April 1, 2018 - April 30, 2018

    Every year, hundreds of thousands of people come to the Skagit Valley in April for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. As one of Washington State’s most popular destination events, visitors and residents are treated to acres and acres of brightly colored tulips, display gardens that are simply stunning, and photo opportunities around every corner. In 2016 alone, the festival greeted visitors from all 50 states and from 93 countries!     34th Annual Tulip Festival Street Fair, presented by the Mount Vernon Downtown Association. Hundreds of juried arts and crafts vendors including painting and fine art, photography, jewelry, clothing, gourmet food stuffs, unique gifts, delicious food court offerings, live entertainment, and fun for the whole family.

  1. Recreation Without Borders Trip: Wine, Falls & Swiss Chocolates

    April 21, 2018, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM @ Trips depart from and return to Hillcrest Park located at 1717 South 13th Street in Mount Vernon

    Come taste some delicious Washington wines, take in the sights of Snoqualmie Falls in the spring, and historic Boehms Candies. We'll start the day with tasting delicious wines at William Grassie Wine then Pleasant Hill Cellars. Then we will head to a no-host lunch at the Black Dog for a home cooked meal. From there, the unrivaled splendor of Snoqualmie Falls followed by a stop for a tour of Boehms Candies to keep us energized for the ride home. Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
