  1. 35th Annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

    April 1, 2018 - April 30, 2018

    Every year, hundreds of thousands of people come to the Skagit Valley in April for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. As one of Washington State’s most popular destination events, visitors and residents are treated to acres and acres of brightly colored tulips, display gardens that are simply stunning, and photo opportunities around every corner. In 2016 alone, the festival greeted visitors from all 50 states and from 93 countries!   1. Child and Babysitting Safety Class

    April 4, 2018, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Hillcrest Park Recreation Building

    The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program is a community education program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. CABS stresses the priority to keep the babysitter and the children you care for safe. Some of the topcis covered in the program: before the parents leave, playtime, telephone calls/stranger knocks, hand washing, meal times, bedtime and providing emergency care (first aid and CPR, although not a certification).
