El Día de los niños/El Día de los libros (Children’s Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration of children, family and reading which highlights the importance of literacy for children of all languages and cultural backgrounds.
 Join us for a short storytime time at 1pm followed by drop-in multicultural crafts

Work on homework or sharpen your skills on websites like IXL and Kahn Academy (be sure to bring your school issued passwords). Learning Lab provided by a generous grant from SPEEA.

Dogs on Call, an all-volunteer organization of certified therapy dogs, presents this reading program for reluctant readers (and readers who just love dogs). Reading to dogs helps put kids at ease and makes reading more enjoyable. Recommended for ages 6-12.
