The City of Mount Vernon, Washington is solicited interest from consulting firms with expertise in civil engineering, surveying, permitting, and other related professional services. The project will add sidewalk to the west side, add bike lanes, increased street lighting, full pavement rehabilitation, and enhanced storm water facilities.

Current Status:

This project is being constructed in three phases: Phase 1 - Cameron Way to Riverbend (Blade Chevrolet); Phase 2 - Riverbend to 1415 Freeway Dr (Skagit PUD); Phase 3 - Skagit PUD to College Way.

Stormwater, along with sidewalk, curb and gutter work is complete. Landscaping is in progress. Next steps are first lift of roadway paving and trail paving, followed by grinding and full asphalt paving in April 2022.
