Does your child LOVE to be outside? Have we got the nature camp for you! Environmental Connections Outdoor School is offering outdoor-based camps at Hillcrest Park this summer! Utilizing a mixture of project-based, cooperative, and experiential learning techniques, these camps are engaging for children and promote social and emotional development, physical coordination, awareness of nature, and a connection to their local parks. Session 6: Treasure Maps Compass and map reading are fun and engaging tasks that promote STEM skills such as spatial reasoning. Through adventures and treasure hunts, we will challenge ourselves to understand and become comfortable using these tools.
