Pets are part of our family culture and they truly help us to live in the moment. Students will use watercolor to investigate the methods, techniques and materials of watercolor or gouache paints to create a portrait which captures the unique beauty and spirit of their pet. As we paint our pets we will learn to use the art elements of contrast, transparency, decisiveness and speed of handling. Bring a digital picture of your pet on your phone to class.
