Adult and Teen Winter Reading Challenges

New Year new reading challenges to try! Pick one of the two challenges and when you complete it, just take a picture of the completed form and email it to us (don't forget to include your library card number)! Then you will get a prize for participating (while supplies last). If you need some book inspiration to get started remember we would be happy to do a personal shop for you to select materials to get you started. Just give us a call or fill out the online personal shopping form on our website. You have until March 21st to complete the challenge.

Personal Shopping Challenge

Just give us a call at 360-336-6209 or email us at mvlibrary@mountvernonwa.gov. We will need your library card #, your resolution, and if you would like to include what you are finding most challenging about keeping your resolution. We will then do a personal shop and pick a book or DVD that we think might be inspirational, instructional, or supportive.

Latino Leaders

Next week we will premiere part 3 of the short video series to get to know accomplished and influential Latino community members featuring: Alex Perez, Claudia Avendaño, Flora Lucatero, Ramon Rivera, Rocio Perea and Oliver Mendoza Quiroz. In this next video they will be sharing personal experiences, lessons learned and the best advice they have received.
