The Library has painted it's windows in honor of tulip season
The Library has painted its windows in honor of tulip season and spring in the Skagit Valley. The murals were painted by local artist Deirdre Czoberek and teen volunteers from Mount Vernon High School, Burlington Edison High School, and LaVenture Middle School.

 After School Special

After School Special is a monthly publication of fun activities for school-aged kids that is published on the 3rd Friday of each month. Activities include art, cooking, STEM, games, book recommendations, and more!

Pick up a paper activity guide at one of the four Little Free Library locations in Mount Vernon, or download a digital copy from our website.

Virtual Storytimes

The library is offering 2 storytimes each week.
Storytime To Go features a read aloud along with links to movement, math, and hands on activities for caregivers to enjoy with their children. 
Bilingual Storytime features a bilingual read aloud with links to themed activities to encourage kids to think beyond the book.
