Giving Tuesday: Support Mount Vernon Library Commons

We are approaching Giving Tuesday on December 3, a national day of generosity. The Mount Vernon Library Foundation invites you to join us in celebrating our new library by making a year-end donation. The Library is, indeed, a wondrous building, and a very busy place.

Since opening in September, we’ve hosted record-breaking patron visits, set a new record with over 1,000 items checked out on each of three separate days in November, and created more than 100 STEM projects.

Your donation on Giving Tuesday will help the Library build on this momentum, enable it to provide more educational resources, community programs, and opportunities for lifelong learning. Together, we will continue to transform lives and foster joy among community members.
