Bring your little one and your imagination to explore the wonderful world of creative dance with Ms. Mo! This is a fantastic way to socialize with other families, help your child improve gross motor functioning, and just have fun! No previous dance experience is needed – everyone is welcome. Register your child for the class and make note during the registration process which adult will be attending with your child.
Designed for all levels of dancer, this ballet and tap combo class is sure to be a hit! This is a great introduction to both dance styles while helping your child to improve their motor skills, increase cognitive development, and expand their socialization skills. They will learn introductory steps both ballet and tap to help spark their interest in dance as well as develop self-confidence. Beginners are welcome – no previous dance experience necessary. Face masks are required for everyone age 5 and over and are encouraged for those aged 2-4. NOTE: One parent/guardian is welcome in the classroom for drop off at the start of class and to observe the last 10 minutes of class.
Did you tap dance as a child or have you always wanted to learn how? Join Ms. Mo to learn the steps and techniques for tap dance. This is a great way to stay active and have fun! No previous tap experience required. Dancers should wear comfortable clothing and tap shoes.

Kids - ask your favorite adult out on a date and bring them to our wonderful Valentine Ball. Dress up in your best attire and enjoy dancing, socializing, photo opportunities, and sweet treats. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
Whether a dog, cat, or horse, we will do a portrait! Three classes in water based media and animal portraiture will allow you to develop painting skills and theme in order to take home a beautiful and meaningful portrait. Bring a picture of your pet or an animal. All other materials provided.

Introduction to ballet & tap vocabulary, technique, and movement skills in a fun and welcoming environment. Each class includes both ballet and tap instruction.
Dress in comfortable clothes that are easy to move in; leggings, t-shirts, leotards, with tap shoes, leather soled ballet shoes, and their hair neatly secured.
Learn the basics of your camera and how to use it to create desired effects. This two-week class will cover proper exposure, freezing or creating action in photos, use of correct shutter speed, lens choice, and composition. Find your favorite settings for your style of photography and enhance the stories that your pictures can tell.

Nature journaling is a practice used by naturalists everywhere to learn about the species they encounter. In this workshop, participants will explore a variedy of techniques in nature journaling - no artistic skill required. Material Provided.

At lease one beginning watercolor class required. Further develop watercolor technique with attention to color mixing. Work with values, warm, and cool colors, tips and tricks for placing details that draw the eye through the painting. Use of tempo and expressive brushwork will be explored. All materials provided.
Immerse yourself in the healing vibrations of singing bowls and gongs, all while enjoying the ambiance of a starry night with our Galaxy Projector. Hear and feel sound waves as they flow throughout the room and guide your mind into a deeply restful state. The power of sound can help us achieve tranquility in mind, body, and spirit. Come relax, unwind, and simply enjoy this uniquely powerful experience.
Now is the time to learn where your camera's limits are and how to stay within them, elevating the quality of your photographs. This two week class will cover how to shoot in low light and get great results, correct exposure errors, and accent colors and subjects. Participants will also learn about lens effects and how to select the right lens for your desired effect.

Watercolor pigments offer the brilliant color and saturated hues that make the fields and gardens of Mount Vernon so pretty. A light pencil sketch will establish preliminary design. Explore brush technique and palette complementary to tulips, dahlias, and daffodils. All materials provided.
Come together as one to move and breath, to calm the mind and strengthen the body. This class is a gentle practice where we mindfully work to increase range of motion in the joints and ease chronic pain in the body. Work to build strength, flexibility, mental clarity and attain balance in the body, mind, and soul.
