Veteran's Day Food Drive

The City of Mount Vernon will be collecting donations of non-perishable food and household goods at participating locations.  All donations will be distributed to Veterans via Skagit Vets-Connect.  Donations will be accepted at the Park Administrative Office, City Hall, and various grocery stores & churches (official donation points will be listed on this website as they are confirmed).  Donation accepted October 1 through November 11th.

Food Drive Drop Off Locations:

  • Mount Vernon Parks Administration Office at Hillcrest Park, 1717 S. 13th Street, Mount Vernon
  • Mount Vernon City Hall, 910 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon
  • St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 415 S. 18th Street, Mount Vernon (Open Monday - Friday from 10am to 12pm or Sunday Mornings)
  • NW Barbell Gym, 1100 Roosevelt Ave, Ste. C, Mount Vernon (Open 24 hours for members)
