We devote substantial time and resources towards creating communication options for our information consumers. Our goal is to connect community members to the Mount Vernon Police Department and services by:

• Helping community members get involved in our policing their community.
• Promote department programs & resources for citizen use.
• Help citizens under stand our role as well as their in shaping safe, vibrant communities.

By creating a variety of options, we hope to effectively inform, educate, alert, advise or encourage citizen action that fosters mutual understanding and leads to lasting police/citizen coalitions.
