The Mount Vernon City Library is pleased to announce the winners of our 2105 Poetry Contests. The winners of the kids’ Haiku contest are: Ximena Aguilar, 4th grade (3rd-4th grade category) and Niah Pilalis, 6th grade (5th-6th grade category). The winner of the Teen Poetry Contest is Tabitha Nelson. The winner of the Adult Poetry Contest is Brent Logan.
