Chris Cammock, began his career as a Mount Vernon Police Officer in 1989. He was promoted to Sergeant in 1994, Lieutenant in 1997, Interim Police Chief in 2019 and Chief of Police in 2020. He has served as the Department's Gang Investigator, Tactical Team member, Patrol and Crime Prevention Sergeant. Chief Cammock received his Bachelor's Degree from Central Washington University, holds a Mid-Level Management and Executive Certificate from the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission and graduated from the FBI National Academy in 2009 (Session 239). Chris is active in several community groups.
