The Mount Vernon Police Department receives many requests from patch collectors and other law enforcement enthusiasts. Due to the high demand, we regrettably found it necessary to stop the popular practice of trading law enforcement patches and memorabilia. The uniform patches of the Mount Vernon Police Department are restricted and for security reasons are only issued to our employees. In addition, they are purchased with City funds so unfortunately, we cannot supply them free of charge and they are currently not available for purchase.
