  • Once the Claim Information has been received it will be forwarded to the City's insurance pool, Washington Cities Insurance Authority (WCIA). WCIA will proceed with an investigation of the claim and respond to the claimant directly regardless of whether the claim has been accepted or denied.

  • The Mount Vernon Prosecuting Attorney only handles the prosecution of criminal misdemeanors and infractions committed within the city limits of Mount Vernon. For information regarding felony cases, misdemeanors that occur outside the city limits of Mount Vernon and juvenile cases please contact the Skagit County Prosecuting Attorney's Office at 605 S. 3rd Street, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 (360) 336-9460.
